We specialise in design and supply of advanced
actuation devices for your next generation products.
Electromagnets or electrical holding magnets develop high attraction forces to flat magnetic materials.
Most common versions need to be energised to develop force, like our EM series of electromagnets. The applications range from holding of
ferromagnetic workpieces during machining or assembly operations, through door latching or holdback devices, safety mechnisms, to selector
devices in textiles machinery.
Because the field sharply drops with the distance of the counterpart, the flatness of the surface and a very thin plating are important
features. This is also true for the optional armature plates.

Electromagnets General Information
As Electromagnets also Holding Magnets develop high attraction forces to flat magnetic materials -
but they don't need electrical power and therefore they can't be switched off. Holding Magnet devices comprise of a permanent magnet
usually in the form of a disc, encased in a mild steel pot which provides a return flux path.
